Pre-Season Boot Camp – Steamboat Edition

Our Steamboat Springs Pre-Season Boot Camps are designed to get you in top form by improving technique and maximizing speed before tryouts or team training camps. Camp nclude daily, off-ice activities and training. Whether local or traveling to Steamboat, take advantage of the high altitude training, ensuring you’re in top form to start your season.

On-ice sessions consist of technique, overspeed and transition work and include passing, shooting and carrying the puck at speed in challenging situations. The Olympic sized ice is big and fast and is the perfect setting to make huge strides in your skating speed and agility. Camp will be limited to 15 players to maximize reps and allow for more personalized coaching over the week.

Steamboat Springs is one of the Colorado’s most underrated mountain towns. Capturing the spirit of old Colorado, Steamboat is a down-to-earth ski town where locals are friendly and outdoor activities abound. Summer activities include exceptional road and mountain biking, golfing, hiking and fishing in several nearby state parks or in the Yampa river. In the heart of Colorado mountain ranch country, you might also want to spend an afternoon horseback riding or catch the rodeo.

Steamboat Springs Pre-Season Camp Details

Dates: August 7 – August 11, 2023 (Weds-Sun)

Level: 2010 Birth Year and older (Juniors/AAA/High School)

Size: 15 players Maximum

Schedule: Morning session 9:30am – 11:00am, dryland workout 11:30pm – 12:30pm

Cost: $600 (Includes on/off-ice workouts) Sibling discount of 10% for multiple family members.

Lodging: Rent and entire house of condo at a VERY affordable rate on AirBNB or VRBO. Hotels are also an affordable options this time of year.
